Hey, Aaron, thanks for the comment. Just follow the links and get your copies ordered and let Ron and Gary know how much you like it. I'm sure they would be thrilled to hear from you. It's a great character & series and I can hardly wait to see the next issue!

Wow! what a weird synchronicity! I was just reviewing Scary Tales #38 on my blog and musing over what ever happened to Mr. Jigsaw, yesterday! I went looking for some images and found your site! I loved Mr. Jigsaw ever since 1983 when I read the first Charlton story. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to see this character back in comics and look forward to reading this.... of course, if you wanted a blogger to review your new Mr. Jigsaw comics, well I'm available.

Excellent comments, Sarge. Growing up in the '60's and '70's I had the same feelings about Captain Mar-vell. I was amazed to find out later that he was not the original Capt. Marvel. Some good points on the Conde Nast/Street & Smith rights ownership too. We don't have all the facts on Capt. Marvel yet but it seems there is more characters in the Public Domain from the early 20th Century than we knew about.

Not to open a can of worms but the Captain Mar-Vell copyright issue had me stumped even as a kid in the sixties! My dad's favorite comicbook hero was Captain Marvel and he was thrilled when he bought me the new Captain Marvel even if he was green & white!! He was overjoyed when Gil Kane took over the artist spot and shades of the original Big Red Cheese cropped up in the storyline!!! He never could figure out how that counterfeit Captain Marvel that split apart by shouting "Exam!" came to be but he had a great theory that I always thought held water! Dad figured that since Timely's first superhero comicbook was entitled "Marvel Comics" had first rights to the name of "Captian Marvel" that predated Fawcett's copyrights!! He based this on the parallel of National's evolution into DC!!! To us at Port Terra on the banks of Phantom Creek in Hiler, NY, the Captain Marvel mystery was solved! Speaking of copyright mysteries, another that bothered my dad & me was Conde Nast!! For yrs. we were all led to believe that Conde Nast had owned the rights to all the Street & Smith pulp heroes!!! Just before Dad entered the Great Mystery this past June, God bless him, he was astonished to learn that Conde Nast just recently bought the copyrights from Street & Smith's parent company! All along we thought Street & Smith evolved into Conde Nast but all you have to do is go to Wikipedia to find out otherwise!!

Hi Thomas! Wow! It is great to hear from you! We have tried to look you up on the web but had no success. I don't know why. The link you gave us lead us right to your new stuff. Awesome work, by the way! I'm sorry to say that when we had to cease publication back in the 90's we lost contact with a lot of folks that worked with us on these books. Freazie and I hope MCG will grow into something that will profit us all. If nothing else it's a great link for your previous work to add to your portfolio. When you get a chance use the contact form on the MCG main page and let's us hear from you. Great hearing from you!
