It doesn’t seem to be getting any easier. How do we reason with those who have lost all reason and perspective on reality? War is a terrible thing and for those involved it may never end even after they have come home. Some learn how to deal with it while others need help. Too often the victors in war are also the victims. It’s important to realize that and give our men and women in military our full support whether we agree with the decisions to go to war or not.

Use of the railing in the mall was a great prop for perspective and continuity, especially on these standoff pages where there is not much action but a lot of tension. I think it gave a nice flow to the art in telling the story as it leads down to the heroes realization in the last panel. We’ve had clues, but now a bombshell is about to drop concerning our hero.
