Project: New Man 1 Page 25

Yes, it’s the big romantic scene where the hero gets close and intimate with the lady and they begin to express their true feelings for each other and he says those two words every female yearns to hear! End of Chapter 4, but wait! There’s more…tomorrow. ;-)

For some reason I got to ink this page myself. I don’t recall why. I did a few other panels throughout the issue too. Nathan did do the last panel on this page. Nathan was not originally slated to ink these chapters, neither was Thomas O’Conner, they bailed us out at the last minute and fixed the pages someone else had barely started inking so we could meet our deadline.  I can’t say enough about Nathan Massengill, as if I need to, he is one of the top talents in comics in my opinion. He’s as good a penciler as inker. He’s done work for DC Comics on Batman and others and work at Marvel and just about every major company out there. We were fortunate to get his work early in his career right after he graduated form Joe Kubert’s School. We knew this guy would go places! We had the same feeling about Thomas O’Conner, but I don’t know his where abouts now.
