Originally Freazie was going to pencil over my layouts on this and the next chapter of The Haunted Man storyline. Freazie was not real comfortable working over my pencils even though he did a great job, he needed the freedom to create from scratch. So after a bit of help on pages 5 & 6 I did the rest of the pencils, inks and tones. The tones were from Duo-Shade board. They have been used on books by John Byrne, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles books and others. Duo-Shade is fun to work with and often looks great on the originals but sometimes don’t print on paper very well. They tend to muddy up. I decided after seeing this on in print in Humants # 2, I would do something else next time.
