Here’s a single page adventure Nathan Massengill did for us back in the day. I showed a smaller version of this in on eof the earlier MCG Blogs. I don’t know what inspired it, but I’ve always liked this page showing our hero in a liesure setting. After what he just went through with Cyber-Tech that’s a big switch, and since I know what he’s about to go through it’s a small reprieve, to say the least. So let’s enjoy it while we can!

Of course this is not part of The Huanted Man story line but we had a couple extra slots to fill on this issue and I wanted you to see the larger size version of this page.

We have a special page for Christopher Torres pencils on slate for tomorrow, so don’t go away, it’s sure to be a nice treat as well! Then I’ll show you the inside back cover with a peek at next issue’s cover, also by Mr. Torres, and then the colorful back cover by our own Allan Lewis. Next Monday we’ll begin Project: New Man #4. The previous 3 pages were added to the first page for this chapter. I don’t know if Nathan Masengill did more than one dream page or if the others were lost. This segment was plotted 16 years ago! But anyway, the previous 3 pages were the first NEW Project: New Man material I’ve done in nearly 2 decades. I hope to do more.

I tried to match Nathan‘s style for this dream segment, but I came up short on pages 2 & 3. Maybe I’ll revise it sometime and do better. My biggest hurdle for doing this was waiting until the last minute to do it and being in the midst of High School Football Program Book season to attempt it. But I made the post deadlines. It’s amazing what a p[erson can do inspite of sleep deprivation!

If you go back a few pages and read it from page 32 of Project: New Man #2 it gives a better effect and continuity. New Man’s origin and this dream segment are key parts of The Haunted Man story line and the premise of the title as well.
