Sometimes when it seems we have done all we can possibly do and there is nowhere to turn, we’ve hit a wall and can’t go forward, back or anywhere else there is still one option.

Do you think Dr. Hubert Rolph might have missed class the day they went over Fulfilling Assassination Contracts? It just seems to me if someone is going to off someone by blowing up a complex that they would want to be as far from the complex as possible. Or maybe he didn’t realize just how far he pushed those settings when he tryed to sabotage Project: New Man. Well at least he won’t have to worry about it looking bad on his resume, eh?

Ya know I kinda know how ol’ Hubert feels. It’s been my experience that those quite, scholarly, petite ladies will only take so much, and then SMAK! But then, ol’ Hubert has made another miscalculation it seems too… and this one might well be the most costly of all! Tomorrow..

One of my favorite origins in super-hero comics is that of Captain America! This chapter was inspired by Cap’s own origin tale even though it’s very different. Still, the whole scientific experiment theme is here.

Dave, still known only as David “Killer” Kane, is still a bit weary of what is going on around him. He still is not sure all this is not just an elaborate set-up to eliminate him or at least erase his potential to ever talk of his knowledge of the covert government operations he was involved in. His thughts are most revealing of his true character as he goes through the paces of the Experiment.

Here begins The Experiment that transforms David “Killer Kane” into New Man. Of course any good superhero origin tale begins it’s scientific projects in the lab surrounded by mad scientist types, ya know.! Baw-HaHaHaHaHaHa!
