Billy Leavell came up with the idea of the wavy lettering for OminiSpawn. OmniSpawn is like a spirit being who floats about, walks through walls and the such but he also can take on a very solid form as will be seen in the next couple pages. Devlin Delano was Freazie‘s character which Mark got to name.

Back in our Legacy Comics days this first Humants story was being done simultaneously with the second Project: New Man story. Accomplishing that with a limited help was enough trouble all by itself! But then we had another problem. The stories were originally going to be two separate regular size comic books, however printing fund shortages dictated combining the two stories into one 64 page comic. While that saved us money on printing, it cost us in sales in the comic shops because of the higher price we had to charge for that one issue. Even though we were giving a lot more pages for the money, when it came down to comic book readers buying decisions, that $3.75 per issue beat out the 64 page count more often than not. Live and learn.
